  Launch of designjet 5000 HPIndia Ltd. Launched its DesignJet 5000 and 5000 PS at Hotel Oberoi on 18^th September. Tarunjeet Sarao Market Development Manager introduced the machines to the participants and highlighted the features. Another Indian, Rana Ray Choudhury –R&D Project manager at HP, Barcelona Spain who was involved in developing the remote access software ‘webaccess utility’ also gave an in depth view on the possibilities of  controlling the machines remotely.
  Mike Horsten of ColorGATE Digital output solutions Gmbh previewed the proprietary postscript level 3 Rip which is specially developed for the two machines. It was actually world premier for the software taking into consideration the fact that it was premiered in Photokina the same day albeit 2 hrs later.
